To activate an individual account on Jola, you must be a recognized citizen or legal resident of Nigeria who has attained at least eighteen (18) years of age. You will be required to link an active Bank Verification Number (BVN) registered in your legal name and authenticate via multi-factor SMS verification with a licensed Nigerian carrier.
Statutory Compliance & KYC
We leverage Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) authorized verification infrastructure to authenticate your credentials. Accounts created using proxy, altered, or synthetic identities are subject to immediate termination.
